Newborn's vision is blurred - they can only focus on objects within 8-14 inches from their faces. They like to see the flashy, high-contrast colors, like black and white pattern. Later in the month, the bright colors will attract their attention and they like to see his own reflection in the mirror. Most of all, they were glad to see you.
Their attention span is not too long, so you may find your baby turning when you least expect it. Do not worry, just move to something new and their views will be back.
In the third week, your baby will have a reflex found. They will feed, rooting for your nipple when hungry, grasping objects, and blinking.
The real excitement will be the ability of your new baby was found to communicate. In the fourth week your baby will start bubbling and coo as a means of expression. Listen closely to their new sound was born, which bubbled and coo and hum change quickly. Be sure to coo in response to and talk to your baby constantly.
Tell your baby what you do, when you do that - they love your voice, but listen to you talk is how they learn language. Singing softly and quietly to help calm your baby's tired. Favorite lullabies and ballads you always a good option - if calm Depeche Mode and lulls your baby to sleep, why not sing it?
